it was an all together okay product. Its not really for girls with oily t-zones, at least not for mine. Ive tried this on and off. Good news is i havent broken out from it, but i discontinued my use.

I find this foundation smells MUCH better than Revlon's Colorstay (which smells vaguely of paint).

It's got good coverage for my sensitive, sometime dry, sometime oily skin. I am prone to breakouts and I have a lot of redness that I need to cover. This does a great job at that. I still always use a base of green concealer to reduce the redness, but I've tried this on it's own and it works really well. I've used whipped foundations that go on heavy only and I like this one because it's still good coverage in one layer, but the more you layer it, the better it gets... and it never looks too heavy.

They also have a good range of colors. I am extremely pale and it's hard to find a foundation that doesn't make my skin look orange. I have cool undertones, and the color I have (Porcelain Ivory) is slightly pink which is good for me.

As for the 24 hour promise... I don't think it's true. It does last a long time but definitely not 24 hours. It does last better through sweat than other foundations I've tried but it's not "transfer free" which is what Maybelline claims. But when I set it with a pressed powder, it does last quite a long time.

There's only one complaint I have about this stuff... and that's how it's packaged. It's a glass container that has a small opening so I have to use my concealer brush to get it out and I use my larger foundation brush to spread it. But it's a small compromise.

I do recommend using a foundation brush for this though, I found it works better than my fingers. Sponges would be good too.

Overall, this is what I think:

    Pros:
    - nice consistency/smell - good coverage with the ability to add layers without being cakey
    - good color range for all skin colors - covers redness without making my skin break out (oil free)

    Cons:
    - dispenser is a glass container without pump
    - doesn't live up to 24 hour claim... although I don't think ANY foundation does.

I used the previous Maybelline Superstay Silky 16 hr foundation for years- probably close to all throughout high school. After it was discontinued I tried so many foundations and none of them suited my skin! I ended up wearing mineral foundation most of the time, or no foundation at all because everything I tried just broke me out or looked streaky/ didn't match my pale skin. Finally about a month ago I gave in and bought the new Maybelline Super Stay Makeup 24 hr.. and I wish I bought it sooner!
I can't say if it is really 24 hr.. although I've worn it from 8 am to 2 am and it still looked good so thats pretty close! It is definately super stay though. I've worn it walking to class in the craziest weather- rain, snow, intense humidity. Where I bought it, sand beige was the lightest color (although there is one lighter shade available elsewhere).. and I am very pale, but it couldn't match my skin color better. Also.. as far as I know there are no medicinal ingredients, but when I bought this I was having a breakout.. and within 3 days there were no signs of the breakout at all, and I haven't had a blemish since. I love this stuff!
The only downside is the packaging.. I don't like not having a pump. I hate sticking my fingers into the product, and my foundation brush is too big to fit in. I end up just using a q-tip, then dab it on my skin and brush it out..which works, but a pump would be more convienent.
