Less than ideal for a black coffee drinker

While it is true that the French Vanilla flavouring is a bit too subtle, it doesn't mean that the coffee is undrinkable. It just requires a bit of tweaking to suit your taste. You can try pairing it with an unflavoured creamer/cream substitute to enhance the flavour. The aroma of French Vanilla is much stronger than its flavour. However, if you prefer a strong flavour and a coffee with no added cream or sugar, this would not be my first recommendation. But if you don't mind a subtle flavour, then you might enjoy it. The usual quality of the McCafe medium roast is present, in the fact that there is no bitterness to the coffee once brewed. On a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 6. It's not my favourite, but I would drink it if my only other choice was a light roast.

It was OK

I really wanted to love these pods but was disappointed. The coffee itself was not bitter or burnt and quite smooth but the vanilla flavour was too artificial tasting for me.

Smelled good, tasted okay

I only tried this coffee twice before I went on vacation and didn't have access to a Keurig. I typically love McDonald's coffee and especially French Vanilla. This coffee smelled really good while it was being brewed and you could smell the vanilla. I don't know what happened but the first time I made my coffee I did a Splenda and 2 milks and it was not bad. I couldn't really taste the vanilla and my coffee had kind of a bitter taste. The second time I made it I used just regular sugar and 2 milks and I didn't really like my coffee at all. I don't know if it was just the machine I was using but my coffee tasted burnt this time. I'm going to have to keep trying this coffee to get it to where I enjoy it.

My experience was, I found the coffee to be slightly weaker than the original blend. instead of my usual 12oz, I made 8oz on the strong setting, and the strength was perfect. The aroma is my favourite part

Artifical tasting

The McCafé Vanilla Keurig coffee unfortunately was a miss for me. The vanilla taste sadly was too artificial in flavour and came across as more of an almond flavour. As well the coffee just didn’t pull through as very strong or smooth tasting like I would expect a McCafé coffee to taste. It was very watered down even on a small size setting. The packaging however is on par with every other K-cup coffee offered so nothing that wowed me but was easy to use and a standard. As someone who hasn’t had a flavoured coffee before this was definitely a let down and I wouldn’t recommend this to be a first choice for others wanting to try flavoured coffee for the first time. Over all I wouldn’t purchase this but would still be open minded to trying other flavors offered by McCafé.

Definitely vanilla

I tried the McCafe French Vanilla k cups and I’m on the fence if I actually like it or not. I do normally like flavoured coffee but the vanilla flavour that is gave off was a bit too fake vanilla flavour. It definitely wouldn’t be what I think “French vanilla” tastes like. I would drink this coffee but I don’t think I would purchase this one again.

Good coffee but French Vanilla Flavor?

I am no stranger to Keurig McDonald's coffee. McDonald's coffee via restaurant or a keurig is often a delicious consistent taste.
The French Vanilla coffee was no different that it had a great taste..however I barely noticed the French Vanilla flavoring. I had tried about half the box currently and still can barely notice the French Vanilla flavor profile.
Yes I do like the coffee however I personally don't find the French Vanilla very noticeable despite drinking it a few different ways.
I would still recommend this product if you would like a hint of flavor without it overpowering.

Pretty good

It's makes a good, decent cul of coffee. I'm only putting 3 stars because I think the flavors could be a bit bolder..it's tasty and I enjoyed drinking it.

Good is Brewing!

I recently purchased a Keurig for my home as an early Christmas present and since then have been buying a different brand each week to try. I have yet to try McCafe, so I was really excited to have been chosen for this mission. I thought it was really good, especially with a touch of Bailey added to it. My husband however, thought it was bland tasting. Yet my 18 year old son felt that the vanilla was too overpowering and did not enjoy it whatsoever. So I guess it comes down to each their own. You’ll either love it, or won’t!

Tasty French Vanilla Coffee!

A smooth and flavourful cup of Mccafe coffee. K cups are convenient to use in our Keurig machine, although they can be expensive to use on a regular basis instead of just the reusable filter with ground coffee. I wish these pods were able to be fully recyclable - not in our area yet. The vanilla has a strong taste and I enjoy the medium roast blend. I like there is no artificial flavours. I'd buy this flavour again, just in ground coffee format.
