Love the dark roast!

McCafe High Grown Organic Dark Roast Whole Beans is a lovely blend. Nothing beats the smell of freshly ground beans first thing in the morning. The taste and strength of the dark roast is perfect. Tastes like it was made directly from a McCafe store.

Smooth & Bold

I am not the type to really enjoy a Dark Roast but decided that I'd try this as it boasted "layers of deep, rich, full-bodied flavour with subtle notes of cocoa and caramel", and surprisingly didn't disappoint. When I brewed my first cup of this coffee, and tried it black, it was quite smooth, and the coffee was bold and tasty with the hints of the cocoa and caramel when it hit the back of my throat. To be honest, I thought at first it was just a gimmick, but I did taste those notes of cocoa and caramel. Anyway, I typically drink my coffee with cream, and it was quite good, the taste wasn't diminished much, by the cream, and didn't taste extremely bitter with my cream. I would buy this in the future as a go-to dark roast, if I cannot locate any regular McCafé coffee, at my place of shopping, as an alternative.

True to it's name

The McCafe organic dark roast is such a good way to start the mornings. The coffee tastes natural, rich and flavourful. It roasts really well and quality was superb. I would definitely buy this again!

Best Organic Dark Roast Whole Beans

I have to say this is one of the best coffees I ever had! I enjoy the dark roast flavour, even when it's just black coffee (without any cream, milk, or sugar). It gives a very strong aroma and rich flavour. It tastes perfect especially when it's freshly brewed and served. I shared some with my family, and they loved it very much too! The pack of whole beans is good if you have a coffee grinder to grind the beans as coarse or fine as desired.

What a great addition to McDonalds coffee

I was so excited to be selected for this review, as we already love McDonald’s coffee! Brewing a pot of the dark roast hi grown coffee filled our kitchen with a warm aroma with notes of cocoa. The coffee exceeded all expectations!!

Great new flavour

I am a McCafe enthusiast, and I have been hooked on their coffee for years. The new Organic Dark roast flavor is bold and provides the extra kick you need to start your day.

Great bold coffee and nice crema

I used this in my DeLonghi espresso machine to make espresso, lattes and Americano. They all tasted great. Not all coffee create a nice crema when brewed - this one did!

Full bodied delicious flavour

This coffee has a delicious, deep, full body to flavour that I love. It has subtle under notes of cocoa and Caramell which are almost unnoticeable but totally make this coffee unique and more tasty then other coffees. I don’t like heavy flavouring and this is just a really good coffee. I’m rich and flavorful! This is my new favourite coffee. #mccafehighgrown #highgrown

Not the best

Not my favourite coffee. Didn’t love the taste and couldn’t compare it to Other McDonald’s coffees which are much better.
This coffe just didn’t taste as good therefore I wouldn’t buy it .

Love the Bold Dark Roast Flavor

I can't believe this is a fast food chain coffee. I am a heavy coffee drinker and have tried various brands of ground and k-cup coffees. I can say this has the boldest flavor of all. I can already smell the strong aroma of the coffee while it's brewing. I also tried the k-cup version of this coffee. Although it is convenient and taste amazing, I think this one provides a better value as it allows me to control how strong my coffee will be by putting more or less ground coffee to my coffee maker. Definitely love it and would recommend to whoever enjoys a strong and bold dark roast coffee.
