Amazing product

The coffee is amazing at taste and it’s easy & quick to make. Coffee gives an immense freshness and it smells so good that it lifts up your mood. With hot water it tastes better and a pinch of cream.

I like it

It’s easy to make and the flavour is very strong. It does have more of an acidic taste which is to be expected for a dark roast. Overall the flavour is good and is easy to use.

Great Flavor but...

I got to test this coffee for free from the brand, but I was still disappointed in it. The coffee has a great flavor but it seems like it doesn't dissolve fully in the cup and leaves a residue along the top of the cup you brew it in. Every time I made this drink there were undissolved crystals at the bottom and floating on top of the mug. If this could be fixed somehow *(finer crystals, less flaky texture maybe?) this would be a 5 star product. However, it did taste just like McCafe from McDonalds.

Tastes good

Usually I start my day with a cup of coffee! Coffee wakes me up and increases my energy levels for the long day ahead of me.
I got a chance to try McCafé Premium Instant Coffee Dark Roast . I received this free product from Thisisbutterly and Mac Coffee in exchange for my honest opinion.
McCafé Premium Instant  coffee dark roast is 100% sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. This coffee has a rich aroma with notes of cocoa! It tastes great! I really enjoy drinking this coffee! Easy to prepare by adding hot water.

This is a great new product. All the flavour you expect from McCafe to enjoy at home. Easy to make and you can add all your favorite flavorings or just enjoy the rich coffee taste you know and love. Highly recommended.

Makes a pretty good cup of coffee

I was very happy to try this product for free into return for my honest review. I somewhat see myself as a bit of a coffee snob. I have a number of different type, light, medium and dark roasts, various ways to produce the coffee itself as well as different ways of dressing the coffee when its made. I enjoy the convenience of a pod brewed coffee and the richer taste of that made in a pour over but I also really enjoy a cup of instant. If it's good, you can have the best of both worlds; convinience as well as taste. This one by McCafe is pretty good. It is the first time I've had a dark roast in an instant form so that definitely made it stand out from other instants I've tried. It really did make a smooth tasting dark roast. I usually drink my coffee with cream and sugar but I wanted to test this properly so I tried it my usually way as well as completely black. Even before I added anything to it, it had lovely notes of almost a caramel or hazelnut. It was a great pick me up in the morning, as well as the perfect after dinner treat.

My only draw back to this coffee was the price. A 100g can retails for approximately $10 in most places I checked. That isn't so much more than my usual instant coffees but the amount of granuals used per cup is much greater than what I generally used. The McCafe coffee states to use 2 1/2 tsp per cup. The granuals are also much larger than what I'm used too. I believe I would be buying this coffee twice as fast as the other ones I use. So, while I do enjoy this McCafe coffee, I would probably only by it occassionally to supplement the ones I already have (ie. to have a dark roast option) instead of having it replace what I already drink entirely

Tastes like it came from the restaurant itself. Smooth, robust flavour and easy to make. Some instant coffees leave grinds in the bottom and I did not find that an issue with this product. Perfect for when you are craving a familiar cup of coffee at home.

Enjoy delicious coffee at home!

I love a cup of black coffee in the morning, the smell, taste just wakes me up! So happy McCafé came out with the dark roast instant coffee! I always loved McDonald’s coffee and now I can enjoy it comfortably at home whenever I want!

Good but bitter

Overall my daughter and I liked it but we both agreed that it lives a little in-mouth bitterness after drinking it, even with milk and sugar. We prefer the real in-store Mc Café.
