Rich flavour, great coffee

As a fan of McCafe coffee, I was excited to try their dark roast instant coffee. The aroma is quite quite strong and wakens up the senses. Perfect size to store in the kitchen if we want a rich, instant coffee on the go.

Good choice for instant coffee!

I would recommend this McCafé instant coffee based on its flavour, easy preparation and convenience on the go. It's not the best instant coffee I've ever tried but it's still good.

Great coffee

This is a great new product. All the flavour you expect from McCafe to enjoy at home. Easy to make and you can add all your favorite flavorings or just enjoy the rich coffee taste you know and love. Highly recommended.

Makes a pretty good cup of coffee

I was very happy to try this product for free into return for my honest review. I somewhat see myself as a bit of a coffee snob. I have a number of different type, light, medium and dark roasts, various ways to produce the coffee itself as well as different ways of dressing the coffee when its made. I enjoy the convenience of a pod brewed coffee and the richer taste of that made in a pour over but I also really enjoy a cup of instant. If it's good, you can have the best of both worlds; convinience as well as taste. This one by McCafe is pretty good. It is the first time I've had a dark roast in an instant form so that definitely made it stand out from other instants I've tried. It really did make a smooth tasting dark roast. I usually drink my coffee with cream and sugar but I wanted to test this properly so I tried it my usually way as well as completely black. Even before I added anything to it, it had lovely notes of almost a caramel or hazelnut. It was a great pick me up in the morning, as well as the perfect after dinner treat.

My only draw back to this coffee was the price. A 100g can retails for approximately $10 in most places I checked. That isn't so much more than my usual instant coffees but the amount of granuals used per cup is much greater than what I generally used. The McCafe coffee states to use 2 1/2 tsp per cup. The granuals are also much larger than what I'm used too. I believe I would be buying this coffee twice as fast as the other ones I use. So, while I do enjoy this McCafe coffee, I would probably only by it occassionally to supplement the ones I already have (ie. to have a dark roast option) instead of having it replace what I already drink entirely

McCafe in my Kitchen

Tastes like it came from the restaurant itself. Smooth, robust flavour and easy to make. Some instant coffees leave grinds in the bottom and I did not find that an issue with this product. Perfect for when you are craving a familiar cup of coffee at home.

Good taste but pricey

Honestly liked the taste but I found it to be a bit expensive. I’d price is not your concern I recommend to purchase and try it to see if you enjoy the taste.

Convenient quality instant coffee

Have been drinking the McCafe dark roast instant coffee for the last week and I must say I have been loving it! I absolutely love how convenient it is and the quality is surprisingly good! Definitely give it a try if you are looking for convenient coffee options.

Great for Baking

I’m not the biggest fan of hot coffee, I usually make iced coffee so I’m probably not the best person to speak on how this is as an actual coffee drink… BUT I used this to make some coffee flavoured icing for my cupcakes and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!

Best instant coffee in the business

I have tried numerous instant coffees in my lifetime and this has to be the creamiest and richest so far! I wish the sample was bigger but I am gonna run to the store to buy more asap!

Good mornings

I’ll definitely buy it again. I love this coffee just not the price. I like my coffee strong and creamy in the morning and this instant coffee gives me that. With a great taste and smells too good.
