Not my cup of coffee!

For someone who drinks K-cup coffee at home regularly, I have to say I did not love the McCafe Premium Roast k-cups. There was no instructions on the box as to which cup size I should brew it at, so I chose the 8 oz cup. It was not a good idea as the coffee tasted very watered down. So the next time I tried brewing it in a 6oz cup. It was an improvement but I found for a medium dark roast coffee, it didn't have a strong coffee aroma and taste. The coffee at McDonald's is a lot better! #McCafePremium #gotitfree

Doesn't taste anything like getting in restaurant

I received this product to review, and having order McDonald's coffee from the restaurant, I knew what to expect. However, when I made the coffee, I feel it tasted more like dirty water than coffee. I gave it two stars because, I admit, I do like a stronger tasting coffee, so that might be the reason I didn't care for it. I even tried doing an 8 ounce, then 6 ounce cup. At the 6 ounce mark, it was getting better, but still not great.

New fave

I'll start off with I like strong coffee but not when it taste burnt, finding a perfect one in keurig form is difficult.
Well this one is it ! It's actually strong but not burnt tasting. It is jist wonderful I don't think it taste the same as their in restaurant one (I like that too) but it's still amazing ! I will definitely be buying this on the regular I actually already bought a jumbo box !

Decent coffee

I like this coffee but don't love it. I found it wasn't as strong as I like my coffee to be. It tasted a bit better when I used the strong setting. The taste is a bit bitter for my liking. I would drink it again but it wouldn't replace other coffees that I prefer.

Toasty Aroma!

Isn't great to wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee lingering around your house? We were very pleased to try the new McCafe Kcups.It is very convenient to prepare since it fits perfectly to our Keurig machine. It is made from 100% ethically sourced Arabica beans and it also encourages recyling so it is a plus factor for me.Definitely will add this to my coffee stash!

My New Favourite!

This will now be my go to K-cups for coffee. I fine the taste is super refreshing in the morning and not bitter or watered down. I also drink my coffee black so I get the full taste. My go to before was Tim Hortons, but I think I will start buying this one instead or at least switch it up. Super excited that I was sent this to try and review. Thank you!

McCafé Java Fix Needs Fixing

This medium-dark roast coffee from McCafé is made with 100% ethically sourced Arabica beans from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms. Yay to supporting farmers! This means communities and surrounding rainforests can keep on thriving. The beans are fire-roasted and the flavour is full-bodied for any coffee lover, though I did find that it was more medium than dark. The packaging is made from recycled materials, and the front of the box does state that the pods are recyclable and even gives instructions on how to do that, but the (very) fine print on the bottom of the box states that this is only possible in select locations. I checked my local area and the pods are NOT recyclable and must be place in the trash, so the label on the box is somewhat misleading; it should denote with obvious transparency that there are exceptions. It also had a QR code that lead nowhere. So, the taste is there as a medium bodied coffee, the packaging has been and can be recycled, but the pods themselves requires extra work to investigate and in the end may not be recyclable at all. The latter may impact an individual's desire to purchase, regardless of quality of taste. While I generally enjoyed the coffee, I will not purchase based on two factors: 1. A somewhat misleading promotion of a recyclable product, and 2. I prefer coffee that is also organic and Fair Trade. There are other options at the same price point that can deliver better on taste, environmental impact, ethics and overall quality.

J'achète plusieurs marques et je dois dire que celle-ci est très goûteuse. On est servi! Très bon café, j'achèterai à nouveau sans hésiter. La marque rend ce qu'elle offre encore une fois!

@chickadvisor sent me a 12 pack of McCafé premium roast K cup coffee pods to try out for a honest review. Being a coupon girl, I couldn’t resist the offer for 2 free li’l donuts from McDonalds. Bonus!! I enjoyed the coffee and liked that it wasn’t overpowering or too strong/ bitter. Although this is not as good as buying one from McD, this is a great cost effective way to save money while enjoying McDonald’s coffee without leaving your home. I would purchase this product in the future.
