This cake is how my childhood tasted and yet it is an easy go to dessert when you are pressed for time and everyone loves it. The almost whipped consistency of the icing and the rich fluffy cake is delectable.I prefer the cake a little bit frozen and the icing soft, its very refreshing and perfect for the hot summer months.

the best cake to have if you're in a hurry or need something at the last minute. very tasty and not too expensive. Stays fresh in the container if not eating right away.

This McCain cake has been enjoyed by my family since I was a little girl! I still remember when I went to the grocery store in high school at lunch time and bought a McCain chocolate cake for lunch!
It was delicious then and it's still delicious today!

This is one of those "special treats" in my home - and boy oh boy do my kids look forward to it! Not only is it a GOOD cake; it's reasonably priced. That's not always easy to find!

This was my late son's favorite cake.
I still buy one on his birthday, to share with his cousins..a way to honor his memory.

I used to put a scoop of butterscotch ripple ice cream beside it, then drizzle home-made caramel sauce over both as a special treat.

Cake is light and frosting is not overly sweet or heavy tasting....the only problem? That it hasn't got two layers!
