These are so yummy. I love the cake right out of the freezer. When serving it comes clean out of the container, which is nice. I don't like to waste, and nobody wants to eat crumbs.
The icing is unique, and does not leave a buttery film in your mouth. I usually do not buy store made cakes for that reason.
A great buy, and perfect to keep in the freezer for that upcoming event.

That brings me many memories the good ones from mom and dad, and the old CMHA ones, these you can shared for a small group of people we did nature walks and before this time, I bought in some McCain cakes, it is very yummy, quite chocolatey and quite sweet so you need a glass of milk and or coffee, freezes well. I used to have these as a Canadian Tire promos freebies. Yay!

This is such a classic cake to pick up for a guilty treat in our house. It brings me back to my childhood my grandfather would always pick one up with a bucket of chicken legs. It always reminded of a dense brownie and a cupcake as a cake. A scoop of ice cream or a glass of cold milk go perfectly with this.

I find this cake to be too sweet, and it doesn't taste much like chocolate. Personally, I would rather "spend" my calories for the day on something that tastes indulgent, rather than something that just tastes like sugar.

This is so darn good with a glass of milk. Everyone loves this you can't go wrong. It's a deep chocolate rich taste and I love the chocolate icing. It's indulgent but not overly sweet.

McCain deep n delicious chocolate cake is amazing. I remeber when we use to have these as a kid. My nan use to have a cake at her house for after supper every time I went there. I still buys them. Great tasting very chocolaty.

Tried this cake some time ago and could not believe how moist and flavourful, for a freezer cake it was. I always have 1 or 2 on hand in the freezer so when someone drops by I always have a great baked good to serve. It's fast, easy and very reasonably priced .
