in 2014 i won a year supply of these cakes. So i have become an expert. They are great for every day dessert or if you are in a pinch you can get the frosting in the tubes and write on them for birthdays or other special occasions.

I buy McCain's Deep 'n Delicious Chocolate Cakes every once in a while when I'm looking for a refreshing chocolatey treat. I love that it fixes my chocolate cravings for a good price. And because it's cold, I can enjoy it even more on a hot day, while switching it up from my typical ice cream or popsicle desserts in the summer.

I am not a big cake eater but absolutely love these Deep'n Delicious cakes. They are amazing in flavour, so soft and moist & not overly sweet. A must try for everyone

McCains Chocolate Cake has been a favorite since I was a lil girl many, many years ago. I am also a big fan of their cream pies.....soooo delicious! ;o)

This brings me back to my childhood! The icing to cake ratio is perfect and the icing is nice and creamy. The cake is not as good as homemade or boxed cake mixes, but for the price and not having to make it myself it's worth buying.

I has a chocolate cake craving so I decided to grab this cake from the grocery store since it brings back so many memories of my childhood and it's exactly as I remembered. It's so rich and moist and the icing isn't too sweet and goes perfectly with the sponge cake. This is my son's first taste of chocolate cake and he loved it. The price is affordable and I like how you can reseal the cover so it doesn't go stale. Great product!

I really enjoy these cakes. The topping is delicious and you get the perfect ratio of cake-whipped topping. My only real complaint is the cake is a bit dry sometimes but that is my only issue with it. Chocolate is our household's favorite.

I remember guests bringing this cake over for coffee & honestly i used to cringe. Cake tastes like it just came out of a 99 cent Betty Crocker box and they added some chocolate cream. Very disappointing.
