Honestly I have always been a homemade cake girl, who comes from a homemade cake kind of family, however there was one time my friend had bought one of these cakes. As I never would have, and It was so amazing, I especially liked it right out of the freezer, something about it being a cold treat was quite reminiscent of ice cream. Now whenever I see these cakes people have to drag me away from them, because I apparently need a reason to buy a whole cake for myself.

This has been my birthday cake tradition for over 20 years. This is the exact cake I always request. It is so moist, creamy topping, delicious! It is hard to have just one piece. Amazing!

I remember when you use to get these with kfc. But Iam not a big fan of these. I find that the cake is over cooked so the cake is dry. And I did not like the taste not enough chocolate taste for me.

#McCain deep 'n' delicious chocolate cake reminds me of growing up. We would have a celebratory cake that was quick and easy to get on the table yet filled our faces and bellies with rich gooey chocolate and delicious icing. Granted it tastes a bit cake in a box now that I'm older and can compare it to other cakes but it's still a great treat! Recommended and would buy again.

I remember these cakes! My mom would always buy them as a special treat on special occasions, but never more twice a year. My mom never bought us desserts, so all us kids went wild for this cake! Even though we would have preferred a cake from Dairy Queen, who can say no to a chocolate cake??

O.M.G. every time I buy one of these chocolate cakes I gain. I love this cake so much I eat the whole thing in 2 days. I hide it behind stuff in the fridge so no one can see it and that's it, I confess I'm a closet McCain's Chocolate Cake eater, but it is so good!!!

Seriously this cake is so delicious I don't even end up cutting peices I just end up getting a fork and eating half of it ! So yummy and everyone is happy when you bring home a chocolate McCain cake . The icing is really good and I like the cake best frozen

Once my family and I had a taste of this cake we got hooked, especially my husband who non stop buys the chocolate cake. Coming from a person who scrapes frosting off the cake, the McCain cake frosting is delightful and I eat the whole thing. It is not overwhelming at all and the cake is very moist.
