Love that McCain's is making new flavors.

I remember growing up as a kid I would prefer getting a couple of McCain's cakes for my birthday than actual birthday cake. In my opinion the quality did change slightly from then till now. I found they were a little more moist back then or maybe that's just how I remember them. Even though as an adult I find they taste slightly more dry.

The cake is marble and not overly sweet. On its own it would be bland on but the whippy almost melted marshmallow frosting on this cake being mildly sweet bring it all together. There's a few soft chocolate cookie pieces sprinkled on top giveing it some color as well as a change of texture. Although this cake is good ( can't lie I just ate two big pieces ) the classic marble cake with chocolate frosting is still my all time favorite.
