My family loves these! When they are on sale, they are the same price or cheaper then the store brands, but the quality of the McCain Hashbrowns is so much better then the store brands that I sometimes pay the extra money anyway. They cook up evenly and brown nicely, and unlike some other brands they do not get "mushy" if they are fried up right out of the freezer. We add a few seasonings as they cook to customize them for us and enjoy!

These are great as a quick breakfast or easy side dish. We fry them up in a pan with onion and peppers all the time. They do tend to be a little dry and I wish they had some more seasoning. A spicy version would be great!!
