McCain Hashbrowns are the most versatile freezer food.

You can have them by themselves , fry them up and add onions, peppers, seasonings , you can cook them in left over bacon grease to add extra flavour or you can cook them in the oven . I like how they stay crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. You can also make a numerous amount of casseroles with them . They're super cheap and easy to make. They're approximately $2 dollars at Walmart.

This is a staple in our family. It's family tradition to have hashbrown casserole on Christmas Eve - and the hashbrown casserole is so good, we now have it much more often and I brought it to a work pot luck yesterday. These McCain hashbrowns really are the best frozen hashbrowns that we have tried for this recipe. In many cases I make items homemade instead of purchasing them, but the time to be able to do hashbrowns, the price is worth it (I usually get the 2lb bag for 1,49$-1,66$).

I like using these hashbrowns as a quick alternative to making my own. I don't purchase these often because they are very greasy, but they taste so good. Very easy and quick to cook for when you want to make something hot and simple for breakfast (or for any meal).

I usually buy a bag of the McCain Hashbrowns when I have a guest or few over. It really saves time in the morning with making a quick breakfast that is yummy and filling. Clean up is quick - which is a big plus on weekends with far too little time. These hashbrowns are also super easy to make so I can let my friend's youngin's help out with breakfast. The cost is a bit high, which is why I buy them just as a special weekend treat or watch for BOGO events.

These hashbrowns are always handy to have on hand. We use them to make many casseroles. Out of all of the hashbrowns that I have purchased over the years, McCain's is my favourite and its my go too.

These are so fast to cook up and so handy! In addition to using them on their own, they make a great, quick ingredient for fritata, strata, corned beef hash or mince and tatties.

These are really great with eggs and toast. Ketchup, salt and pepper. They cook quick enough and are delicious. I like having these for breakfast at least once a week

Hmmm, the power of suggestion. I had been seeing these every time I came here, and then saw the product while doing my groceries. I tried them plain for the first time, and I found they went from cold to burnt quickly. So next use, I watched them more carefully and was very pleased...great side dish for sausages and eggs. Next plan is to use them in an omelette.

Quick easy breakfast, I usually add fresh farm eggs to the hash browns and makes a satisfying wholesome breakfast that even my 20 month old granddaughter doesn't toss on the floor, which toddlers tend to do!!
