I usually opt for the least expensive onion ring because they fall apart so easy. But these ones were on sale, so i tried them. I am glad I did because they did not fall apart. We deep fried them and had dip with them as an app when friends were over!
Tasty and appealing. There is a little girl who lives in my home who does not like onions, surprising to her she devours these onion rings and asks for more.
We really love the fantastic taste of these wonderful onion rings. Add a little ketchup and they make an awesome side dish.
My husband ABSOLUTELY loved these. Thought i had bought chip stand onion rings. When i showed him the box we got all giddy. Said they were fantastic. I am NOT a fan of onion so i bought them for him. Now he gets them as a treat on those special meals.
Adding these onion rings to our meals gave it an instant boost to our usual choices. They are delicious and crispy and a hit with everyone.
Resulted in nicely separated rings, even when cooked in a larger, multi serving portions or with minimal oil in the fryer. Comes in convent size package. A nice addition to many meals. Yummy!
These are so good! The coating stays on and doesn't flake off. The onions are and good thickness, not too thin or thick. I baked mine in the oven and I found that if I baked them about 5 mins longer they became really crispy. There's enough in the box to share between 2 people.
I find these onion rings to have good flavor. They cook up crisp and not mushy. A little less salt would be good, we can choose to add the amount of salt we like ourselves.
For a change from the usual baked / fried potato products, these onion rings will provide a salty, flavourful fix. Baked crispy and evenly in the oven for the satisfying crunch with a soft onion ring centre. Good batter to onion ratio. Can be enjoyed without condiments, Not overly onionly smelling.
Be careful to choose the bag carefully, as you may get some unbattered / broken rings inside.
