My absolute favourite McCain's product, if only for the nostalgia. As a child I was always a fan of these and, as an adult, they do not disappoint. They crisp nicely in the oven, they cook evenly throughout, and they taste fresh every time.

I have a family of four and we often buy the smile fries just our two girls aged three and six, but I gotta say as an adult, I love them too! They are crispy on the outside but soft and potatoey on the inside! They are a fantastic alternative to regular fries - in particular the shape and taste make one "smile" every time. My girls love to dip them in ketchup and I usually dip in salt or mayo. The bags I find are sufficient as a supplement to a dinner but we definitely have no leftovers! I usually stock up when the bags go on sale as they are a favourite in our household! Love the SMILE fries - thanks McCain for a great product!! I am a very valued customer!

I bought these for my kids for a fast after school snack,their quick,easy and very tasty the kids and their friends love them. The price is great and very convient. The smile design makes it fun for kids to eat.

These literally taste like my childhood. Crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside, these things are amazing and even better with ketchup! I always pick these up when im out shopping, as they are delicious, and the price is great!

Smile fries always make me smile. They are a treat for me and the kids because everyone smiles and laughs as we sit around as a family for supper. The kids like dipping their McCain Smile fries in ketchup, but I personally like spreading cheese on them when they are still warm and placing two togethr like a smiley sandwich. So much variety from McCain!

The kids love these - because they are happy faces. The grownups here find them just a bit too potatoey (i know its not a word). I found them to be a bit mushy for my liking. But if the kids like them, at least they are getting something good for them to eat.

What's not to love about this product. These smiley potatoes are so cute and they taste great, too. I don't know who loves them more, me or my two kids. I love them even more when they goon sale.

This is my 3 kids favourite lunch item and I serve it with ranch dip! They ask for the McCain Smiles every time they see this item in the grocery store! All 5 of us enjoy this product and I purchase it quite often.

My only complaint is you need to cook them longer than the package says for them to become crispy. When these are done right they are the perfect treat! Dipped in ketchup and or mayo you cannot go wrong with the flavour combination.

Smile fries are such a nostalgic snack! My husband and I will usually buy a bag on the once monthly or so "flashback" dinners we do. These dinners usually consist of some combination of pogo's, toaster strudles, ramen noodles and/or smile fries. I like mine with ketchup while my husband prefers mayo.

The children at my daycare also love smile fries . . . on the days we have them on the menu (not often as they aren't part of our regular menu plan), the children are so excited! The like to hold the smile in front of their mouth as a makeshift "smile".

My coworkers and I have shared stories from our childhoods on smile fry days, it seems like most people have some positive memories associated with them.

They aren't the fanciest, or the healthiest, but sometimes simple and kid friendly foods hit the spot!
