The kids really enjoy these as a different take on French Fries. They like to dip them in various sauces. They taste great and are a funny appealing shape.
If you're a french fry person, give these a whirl! They are a great change of pace. Crisp and golden on the outside and fluffy and mashed-potato-like on the inside, they offer the perfect combination textures and taste. Convenience factor is big here, too, as they just need to be popped into the oven and baked. Perfect for a quick side dish the entire family will love.
Not great in terms of nutrition, but really, when you eat frozen "fries" nutrition really isn't a top concern, right? Fun for a treat.
These make a great lunch for the kids. And so easy to make just put them on a pan. And pop them in the oven does not get much simpler then that! And every kid loves the smile
These smiles are very dry and do not taste like much of anything! I tried using ketchup to get some flavour but its just not there. Maybe some spice added would help!
Seen these in the store one day while shopping with my grandson. He spied them and begged to have them for dinner so I purchased a bag. Needless to say we both made a mistake. While the smiles are cute the taste and consistancy made these horrible. It was like eating a potato mush. I figured there would be a little my firmness to them. My grandson only ate two of them and pushed them away. Not something I would try again!!!!
These smiles are a fun and quick side to bake. I personally do not like the taste without seasoning them but my kids enjoy them with or without seasoning.
I'm so in love with these. It's weird, I'm not a frozen fry eater at all, but my husband really wanted these and now I buy them quite often. We sprinkle a little Hy's seasoning salt on them before baking and they are perfect. They come out crispy and awesome and are great for dipping!
haha, i feel like a kid buying those for myself . But they taste really good and i like their little smiley cutie faces . Of course those are fried so its not for everyday but a fun snack once in a while
Who doesn't love a smile to cheer them up.. especially if they're edible and potatoes! Definitely easy to make (pop it into the oven for about 20 minutes) and they come up extra crispy and delish. Price wise.. sometimes can be bought for 2$ a bag at No frills and $2.50 at metro or loblaws. Great purchase!
Kiddos love these potato smiles! They are crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. The cute design appeals to kids. They are easy to bake in the oven or toaster oven.
