My absolute favourite McCain's product, if only for the nostalgia. As a child I was always a fan of these and, as an adult, they do not disappoint. They crisp nicely in the oven, they cook evenly throughout, and they taste fresh every time.

The kids love these - because they are happy faces. The grownups here find them just a bit too potatoey (i know its not a word). I found them to be a bit mushy for my liking. But if the kids like them, at least they are getting something good for them to eat.

What's not to love about this product. These smiley potatoes are so cute and they taste great, too. I don't know who loves them more, me or my two kids. I love them even more when they goon sale.

My only complaint is you need to cook them longer than the package says for them to become crispy. When these are done right they are the perfect treat! Dipped in ketchup and or mayo you cannot go wrong with the flavour combination.

Smile fries are such a nostalgic snack! My husband and I will usually buy a bag on the once monthly or so "flashback" dinners we do. These dinners usually consist of some combination of pogo's, toaster strudles, ramen noodles and/or smile fries. I like mine with ketchup while my husband prefers mayo.

The children at my daycare also love smile fries . . . on the days we have them on the menu (not often as they aren't part of our regular menu plan), the children are so excited! The like to hold the smile in front of their mouth as a makeshift "smile".

My coworkers and I have shared stories from our childhoods on smile fry days, it seems like most people have some positive memories associated with them.

They aren't the fanciest, or the healthiest, but sometimes simple and kid friendly foods hit the spot!

Smile are tasty when baked crisp and salted. I enjoy seeing the smile when making them, they seem to always make me feel better. Warm food, full tummy and smiles all around :)

My kids love McCain smiles. They enjoy the shape and of course the potato goodness.

My son loves McCain Smiles because of the fun size and shape. I also enjoy eating them with my son because of the flavor and texture although I think it would be even better if it had more of a crisp to it. Other than that, it's a great product that is family friendly.

Smiles are great for all ages. If your feeling down just cook up some smiles for supper and just seeing all those happy faces staring right back at you should be enough to cheer anyone up.
