Fun but very basic
It was fun to play but I think it’s definitely better suited for people between 14-18 and probably not much older than that. Although it was fun to try as a fan of the movie.
Fun for a bit
This game was fun for a little but but I did find I got bored pretty quickly. Good for younger teens who have shorter attention spans. Probably wouldn't play again myself.
Good Game to Play with Friends
This was a good game to play with friends, not so much with family. Some of the questions were difficult to answer unless you knew the person for a long time, like best friends.
The Burn Book is lack luster
I received the Burn Book game to review and was excited until I actually played it. The packaging itself is really cool and plays a nice homage to the original. The pieces are all good quality and overall really cute. The instructional video made me cringe, it was definitely trying too hard and it was completely unnecessary to use the tone of voice, it was almost like a parody video. However, it did explain how to play clearly. The game itself isn't very fun, we played a couple of rounds before people got bored. I think the concept is great, but the questions could be a bit more scandalous and it's just not as entertaining as it could be. Overall I wouldn't recommend this.
Same as other games
This game is definitely for teenagers between the ages of 11-14. My kids are 16 and 17 and they found some of the questions too "kiddish". We still had fun and just picked through the questions. I only gave 3 stars because this game is very similar to other games on the market that have the same type of game play. People write down their answers, and then another player tries to guess who wrote it.
