Not worth it

This puzzle is set so that when the piece is removed the sound occurs. For development, I would have preferred one that have the sound (ie reward) when the puzzle piece goes in. This also means that is the puzzles falls/pieces feel out, you have a cacophony of really irritating metallic barnyard sounds all at once. I also found the pegs really small for tiny hands to grab.

I love all of their sound puzzles

I love their puzzles as they are made really well. The sounds and designs are super cute. One of them needed a new battery and kept going off on it's own but otherwise, I'd buy them all over again.

Fun Puzzle!

We purchased the Disney princess version of this and my daughter loved it! Each of the princess pieces says a different line until you put her piece in the puzzle. We got this for a very reasonable price and the puzzle is very well made. My only issue is that it would keep saying the lines until all of the puzzle pieces were in and there is no off button. So if you lose a piece you may go crazy! Overall, I’m happy with it!

Fun Learning Toy for Toddlers

There are a few different sound puzzles but we specifically have the shapes one and my 2 year old girls love it! It helps them learn their shapes by showing them the shape, spelling it out and when you place the correct shape in the puzzle it says what it is. A great learning device for toddlers!

My toddler loves this puzzle. I do wish it came with an off switch though. It should also only make the sound when the puzzle piece is correctly inserted in the slot. It makes the sound even if the piece hovers over and it works with even the wrong piece :/

I purchased 2 of the Melissa & Doug animal sound puzzle. They are great to keep a young child entertained. My only concern is the sound is a bit loud and that it sometimes makes the wrong sound when you place the puzzle piece in.

My son received a Melissa & Doug Sound Puzzle (farm animals) for Christmas. The bright colors and large number of animal attracted my son immediately. The animal sound that occurs when he correctly places the animal in the slot kept him entertained and motivated to complete the puzzle. The large and thicker puzzle pieces make it easy for his small hands to grasp the pieces to play. The only drawback to this product is that the sensors may be too sensitive in that the puzzle will sometimes make sounds when moving the puzzle or walking by it. Overall this is a good product, high in quality and fun.

This is a great puzzle for toddlers to learn their animal words and sounds. Built well to last tough play.
