I received a new Melitta 10 cup Thermal Coffee Maker as a gift. It was a model 46894C and it makes the best, most consistent coffee that I have ever had. (I do not use the Melitta coffee in it) You could say that I am a coffee addict and believe me when I say this coffee maker makes the perfect cup, it does, hands down. I have tried a variety of brands of coffee in it and it doesn't matter if it is my normal Maxwell House, Melitta, or a specialty coffee that my daughter brings me from her travels. This machine is so easy to operate. No more transferring this coffee into a thermal caraffe as it brews into one. Very energy efficient as it makes the coffee in a matter of minutes then shuts itself off. It has brew settings (for the desired strength of the coffee). The thermal caraffe keeps the coffee hot for ages. The caraffe is quite attractive and looks nice when I have company I can put it on the table and it is quiet attractive.

It has regular, bold and robust settings for rich tasting coffee. Programmable with auto shutoff. Automatic pause and serve and drip free pouring.

Would I recommend this model and brand of coffee maker, you betcha; it is the best that I have ever had.
