I've always felt a bit icky about how I clean my makeup brushes. Usually I just rub them around the sink and I wash them, but of course, the sink gets dirty over time too. Enter stage left, a product I didn't know existed, the makeup brush cleaning pad.

This really is a great way to get your brushes clean somewhere you know there's no bacteria (though of course you'll need to wash this occasionally too.)

Personally, I didn't find the different areas to be too important or different, but the shapes helped clean the makeup brush out well. The only thing I had trouble with is that this would not stick to my wall and kept falling off. This is probably because I have tiles rather than a flat surface, so be aware of this.

Fortunately, they included a handy loop on it, so I was able to hang it onto a hook and voila! This mat is surprisingly large too, which is great if you have a bigger sink. Overall, a great mat, just wish it stuck to my wall!
