This is a great option for anyone who wants to start doing their own nails at home, which is something I'd considered for a while. I was really surprised at how simple it is. It's a button press and then you just put your hands in and when it beeps you're done. The process of using gel or shellac nail polish has a lot of detail, so I'd recommend reading a good guide online before your nail lamp arrives, but the lamp itself is extremely easy to use.

This lamp basically has every setting you'll need for shellac or gel polish and while it says it may not work with every brand, I used a brand not listed (from the local pharmacy, Sensational) and it worked just fine! With this particular lamp, there's no need to do the thumbs separately as your whole hand can fit comfortably inside.

One piece of advice I would give though, is to make sure you have gel cleanser (or 100% alcohol) to finish off your nails, otherwise they'll be sticky. (Definitely read a guide on gel nails, thank me later!) If you find the light on the lamp going off randomly, it means your hands aren't in far enough, so don't be afraid to push them in there. You can also do your feet by removing the bottom magnetic plate.

Overall, this is a just an amazing nail lamp. It works perfectly for home use with no problems and would be great for anyone looking to start a home or portable nail business as it is very lightweight and professional looking!
