This doesn't really have a scent, it's pretty thick like other charcoal masks, but has a mousse feel to it. It's a real gentle scrub as the wax beads are a bit few and far between. My skin isn't overly dry and I don't get dry patches, but I wouldn't think that this product would do much to help/reduce that. But it was ok for my skin, I manually exfoliate once a week, more because I know should do it, over actually needing to do it.

I find that it is a very gentle exfoliator, so it doesnt scratch your face with the tiny beads inside of it. It also is somewhat creamy which feels nice on the skin. After i use it, it leaves my skin soft, but it is somewhat expensive compared to other drugstore brands.

Nice exfoliannt. Charcoal helps minimize excess oil, which I have.
