Microsoft Surface Pro - a uni students perspective
I've had many computers over the years and decided to buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 when it first came out. At first it was a great little tablet/computer until about 6months in.. Firstly the cable stopped working (turned out to be recalled), the tablet would get so hot you would be unable to hold it before shutting itself off (and that was on a table). It also glitched and was quite sluggish. Keep in mind this tablet is quite expensive.
What I do like about the surface pro 3 is that it comes with a pen, so if you're an artsy person you'd likely love that aspect. Another positive is that it's pretty self explanatory with how the system works. You can also use it as both a laptop and a tablet and can connect it to your Xbox and play games through it.
With everything above taken into consideration I would not recommend this product to other people and would probably not buy the newer models.
I hate the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. It is so frustrating to operate. You look at it the wrong way and it boots you out of whatever window you have open. It is so difficult to find pictures or files. I am Definately going back to Mac. Windows nickel and dimes you to death. The worst tablet on the market.
My boyfriend bought me this tablet when I asked for a laptop. At first I was suspicious but after a few months of using this, I can honestly say it has changed my mind about Windows tablets. It gives me all the features and flexibility of Windows but provides for tablet like functionality including touch screen. The unit is well made, and the covers come in different colours - I have purple!
