Great Primer

I find this primer does a great job at evening out my skintone and helps my makeup to stay on all day. Gives a nice matte finish and I let it fully set before applying makeup for best results.

My new fave!

I have tried a lot of make up primers and this one is different.I love that it is made of wild oat+ ceramide, easy to apply, it comes in a gel like consistency that absorbs into the skin quickly, I use it after applying moisturizer, so lightweight, it holds my foundation well with no piling.I recommend it to other nurses like me who wear make up under the masks as it has a soothing/cooling effect.

There is actually a cooling effect!

Since the beginning of the year, I've been using Milani's Chill Out Soothing Primer. I have a tendency to breakout, so I have transitioned to using more silicone-free primers to prevent excessive impurities from clogging my pores. I especially like the way my foundation spreads smoothly over it and leaves my skin looking matte. Occasionally, I even use it alone to help control oil throughout the day when I don't wear makeup. I am looking forward to trying it in the hot summer months so I can appreciate the cooling effect even more!

Not Super Smooth

This was not my favourite primer. It just didn't feel that smooth and when I went to put a BB cream on over top it seemed to ball up a bit. I did not feel like it lasted all day and it left my skin feeling blah.

Primer orrrr??

Great packaging but it was not my favourite product in the winterbox. It glides on but very hard to build on, reminded me of the Baby skin texture which I never really liked. It is not something I would buy in the future as I am spoiled with another brand. I have dry skin but it still did not give me the effect I needed as a primer

Not sure it's a primer

While this did go on nicely and fill the pores nicely, I found trying to put foundation on over it just didnt work. It just kept balling up. I'm not fond of that at all. A primer should be a simple step, however, this was frustrating to say the least. Perhaps if you dont wear foundation this would be nice but that would mean it wasn't a 'primer'. Its It's a hard no for me.

Texturized skin

Although I liked the cooling effect this primer gave, I found it difficulty to work with since it kept leaving texture and sort of balling up under my foundation and made my skin look bad after putting anything on top of it. Definitely a pass for me.

Great product

Had never tried this before. I like that it is made with oat and feels great on my skin. No irritating ingredients and overall allowed my makeup to hold nicely

Not really a primer

This tended to ball up or pill my makeup when applied on top of the primer. I'm not convinced I would use it as a primer. Maybe as a light makeup day, without any foundation on top.

Great!

This is a great primer and I found that it really smoothed out my skin. My makeup goes on great over top of it and lasts throughout the day as well! Great product.
