I purchased Milani Minerals Eye Shadow Compacts for $3.49 each at Walgreens. I picked up Shock, Illusion, Atlantis and Storm. Out of all the colors, I find myself using Shock, a vibrant sparkly purple, more than the other three. Why? Because it's really pigmented and a total dupe for M.A.C.'s Stars N Rockets. The others? Not so much to my surprise! I was disappointed because Atlantis (a sparkly ocean blue) wasn't as pigmented as I has hoped. Illusion (a sparkly pale pink with flecks of gold) is a great highlighting color for the brow bone or all over the lid. I've read that Java Bean is a nice pigmented grown for a brown smokey eye but I have yet to try it myself. Btw, the sparkles are only on the top layer, not throughout the eyeshadow. If you were hoping for sparkles thru and thru, this will disappoint. If you have a limited budget, you might want to consider these colors:
