Doesn’t blur, doesn’t illuminate

I’m going to start by announcing that I love the Milk makeup brand. I have gone through 3 of the original blur sticks and 2 tubes of the blurring foundation. This products is such a let down compared to their other products. I just wanted a gooey primer that performed as well as the original blur stick and this was not it. It is initially somewhat illuminating, but the glow gets quickly covered up by an foundation you use. It does not minimize pores, nor does it create a smooth surface for foundation application. Overall very disappointing

Great for oily skin!

The Milk makeup luminous blur stick claims to be a matte primer that blurs the appearance of pores and fine lines while also creating a shimmering matte finish. At my first application, I applied the stick all over my entire face and found that it clung to my dry patches around my nose. So, with my second attempt, I avoided my dry area and focused on my cheeks, chin, and forehead. With the new approach, I was enjoying it much more. I did notice the blurring and highlighting effect under my foundation. I would rate this 4/5 because the application is not the most hygienic and does cling to dry patches. *I always moisturized and applied sunscreen before applying the stick.
