It's the soil I use for all my plants. It does say it's fast draining but it kind just absorbs the water and makes it soppy.

It works really well though and is good for if your just starting out with plants.

My plants are all thriving and are very happy. I just found if you want it to wick away water faster use terracotta, and if you want it to maintain the moisture plant it in a plastic Potter. I've had no issues with root rot or anything. So overall it is a good product.

One of the better Cactus/succulent soils around...

I was skeptical to try the Miracle-Gro Cactus Soil, only because I was familiar with the Fafard brands cactus soil... The Miracle-Gro soil is a little bit more money at my local retailers hence why I've generally shied from it... I don't personally feel its worth the 30% mark-up for the name Miracle-Gro, but I do like this soil a tad more... it just holds itself a bit better and seems to have less sand but still drains really well.
