    Works great!

I was feeling miserable due to being constipated for a few days. I have heard how well MiraLax helps with constipation that I decided that I would give it a try , and I am so glad I did. I mixed in a packet into glass of water and within a few hours I was able to have a bowel movement. I really like that it was effective and gentle, easy to take and had no taste. I felt a lot better, thanks to MiraLax.

    Works but is it safe?

I've tried so many products over the years and Restoralax has been the best to help me with occasional constipation. It comes in a white powdered form which you can mix into your favourite drink or water. Doesn’t matter if it’s cold, hot or room temperature. It dissolves very fast and doesn’t leave any clumps or residue at all. The product is tasteless! There is no taste or odour to the powder so I love to add it to my smoothies once a day as I need it.

The lid is easy to unscrew and the cap has a measuring cup so you know exactly how much to take. You just fill the cap to the top of the white line. You actually use quite a bit of it in each glass, so don’t be fooled with how big the bottle is you don’t get a whole lot, it is meant for occasional use.

Restoralax contains Polyethylene glycol. It is used as a food additive and added to many different makeup and hygiene products now of days to increase the amount of water. Using it as a laxative will increase water in your intestinal tract and help stimulate bowel movements.

That all sounds great right? Think again! What I don’t like is the health concerns about toxic effects from eating it. You can find it in antifreeze and it’s said to cause seizures, vomiting, and some say even cancer. But none of this has been proven and the food authorities have declared it as generally safe for use in foods.

Although Restoralax works wonders for me I think I will be exploring more natural supplements in the future. I have been taking it for years because it was the only thing off the shelf and my doctor recommended it. The results are wonderful but definitely not something I want to keep taking.

With my IBS, I never know what to expect from 1 day to the next with my gut. This powder works and my stomach doesn't cramp or tense up, like it does on certain tablet forms.

Not your typical laxative. It's a powder that you mix with liquid and you will not taste it. I use it in water. I had the worst case and my gastronoligist had me to take it everyday. It took about three days but I was completely cleansed. I felt the best that I'd felt in many years. No cramping or pain. Not runny or uncomfortable. No more feeling sick.
