The texture of this cream is great and not oily or thick. It rubs on my face easily, and the colour tone suits mine.
I also appreciate that it has sunscreen protection (40 SPF), which will help my skin in the long run!
This is an amazing product! You can start to see effects right after the first application and it feels great. I have combination skin but it works well to equally blend the skin tones on my face.
pros:
Spf good for daily use
Thick enough to cover discolouration
Skin feels hydrated when on
Faint smell
Cons:
Can seep into wrinkles making them look more obvious
Can dry up skin near end of day
Limited shades available
I really like Missha's M Perfect Cover BB Cream. I tend to gravitate more towards tinted moisturizers rather than foundations, and I'd have to say this is a pretty good in between. It gives me quite a bit of coverage as well. I only wish it came in more shades because No. 23 is a bit too light for me while No. 25 is a bit dark.. nothing I can't work with though. Overall I really like the product.
Great for fair skin. My skin is sensitive and my cheeks will get red throughout the day- this hides that.
I can skip foundation when using this BB, but still need to set my t Zoë with powder
Highly recommended
I can't say I love this BB cream but it also doesn't fail me. It's definitely thicker in consistency. One pro about it is that it comes in a wider shade selection than most of the Korean BB Creams do. A con is that if you are somebody that is darker than a medium-tan skin tone, you won't find a shade that's suitable for you. One of the main reasons I say it works well versus it working amazingly well is because BB creams are supposed to be effortless but I find that I can't just get away with using it with my fingers; I use my beauty blender as well. If I just use my fingers, I find it feels a little bit tacky on my skin and I am not a big fan of that feeling (as I am sure most people aren't). I usually spread it out with my fingers and then use the beauty blender to make sure the product gets buffed out; what a world of difference it makes! I do need to wear a powder over it to give my skin to set it due to my oily/combo skin. Also, I find that I like to use a powdered foundation when I use this to give a bit more colour where the BB cream might be lacking. Overall, I would still repurchase it since it doesn't break me out and it's simple enough.
Shade selection is limited because the product is marketed in Asia, but if a shade matches you, you gotta try it! It does have a light scent, and may appear to have a grey cast when first applied (this will disappear as it oxidizes). Coverage is great, dewy finish giving you a youthful appearance - if you don't like it you can always powder over top - and quality is miles ahead of Western BB creams!
This is my absolute favorite BB cream to date. It is also the most effective for me as I have super fair skin and find that all of the North American renditions of BB creams are way too dark or orange for me, despite being their lightest shade. I also find that the SPF coverage is a lot higher than the ones here in NA, so it's perfect for me.
Unlike other BB creams from Asia, this one doesn't grey out my skin and thankfully matches. I have shade no.13 and it's pale enough to blend well with my skin. It evens out my skin tone very well with medium coverage, however it is a buildable formula.
I'm just not a fan of the scent and find that I have to be super careful with not getting any in my eyes as it burns.
I got the 30ml tube from eBay for approx $13 USD with shipping included. It sells on the Missha USA site for a little over $20 USD. I am NC25 with strong olive undertones and got #23 which is the darker color.
When first applied, there is a bit of an ashy undertone, but that eventually disappears once the cream has had some time to sink into the skin. Shade #23 is definitely a good match for my skin. The coverage is semi sheer, and gives a satin glow to the skin. It does not have the coverage that a foundation has, so definitely concealer is needed for any discolorations.
I like that this has an SPF of 25 and does the job of a moisturizer and sheer foundation in one. On really good skin days, I sometimes mix it with a bit of a brightening serum to give my skin an even more glowy look. Every time I wear this, I always get compliments on how nice my skin looks.
I have the Missha BB cream in no. 21. I have normal to combination fair skin. It does a good job of making my skin tone more even and hides my blemishes on my forehead and nose. The shade matches my skin colour perfectly. This BB cream is great! It doesn't matter how you apply it, it still looks good! I usually use a brush to apply it, but if I'm in a rush, I use my fingers and it still looks great. When it oxidizes, it matches well, instead of turning too dark, like some foundations/bb creams I have tried. First, I received a sample and then I bought the full size product. The one thing I'd like to mention is to be careful, when you pour it, it comes out alot! All in all, I recommend it!
