Descent Cookies and Cream Protein Bar.

These bars can be purchased at Walmart in a box of 4 for $10. Each bar is 200 calories and contains 60% daily fibre; 8 % calcium; 42% (21g) protein. This bar smells like sweet vanilla cookie dough/ice cream. These bars taste good either microwaved or straight from the package. If you eat this bar straight from the package, it is the texture of a chewy soft baked cookie. This bar has a somewhat toffee like texture. When you microwave the bar, some bars get more firm and more like a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. The bar has a taste that is somewhat similar to a vanilla ice cream that is melted. The bar has a very strong vanilla taste. There are pieces of white chocolate on top of each bar-- the number of pieces is no consistent as some bars have very few and others have a lot. There are real cookie pieces throughout-- but more ground Oreo cookie (only black part) so it's more like chocolate dust. Chocolate dust from cookie has mild protein powder taste. The cookie flavor gets lost in the bar. Cookie dust doesn't add crunch to bar just adds chocolate flavor. The peanut butter bar from this brand was a lot more flavorful.
