Cheap Material

I received this complimentary toy in exchange for my honest review for Butterly.com we have previously purchased a Monster Jam monster truck and the quality of the materials from the one before and from this one that I received, are very different. This new one feels cheaply made and out of plastic. It runs well, but the feel of the material is cheap.

Sharp edges, great vehicle

We received this Monster Jam, Die-Cast Vehicle, 1:24 Scale in Grave Digger free to test out in exchange for our honest review.
When it was first received we couldn't wait to open it up and start playing. The vehicle is a great size and it looks like it would be tons of fun, especially in the summer sandbox. You can direct the way the vehicle moves as the tires turn depending on where you apply pressure. Unfortunately, our play time with this vehicle was cut short when we realized it was very sharp through the back open areas of the vehicle. On inspection you can see that the metal is jagged and has multiple areas of sharp pointed metal which makes, in our opinion, this toy a no go in our family as we wouldn't want any fingers getting cut from the metal. I am unsure if this is a one off with the one we were sent or perhaps a design flaw that should be investigated. Overall, this seems like it has great potential if the edges were smoothed out..
