Not worth the $
I've been using this shampoo along with the Moroccanoil Hydrating Conditioner about once a week for the past year. The bottles have lasted me until now and I've given them a good enough chance to prove their power.
I had extremely high hopes since I love the Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream and it leaves my hair silky smooth after a wash, but after trying the shampoo and conditioner combo, I had mixed feelings. I love the smell of the products, it's very calming, and the consistency is good as well, however, they did not perform the best. I found the shampoo didn't froth as much as I would have liked it to... well, it doesn't really froth at all, it feels more like I'm applying a drying conditioner. I also found I had to use quite a bit of product to really cover the my roots because it wouldn't froth and wouldn't spread easily.
The results I had from using the duo weren't exactly spectacular. My hair smelt great afterwards, but to really feel clean I had to shampoo twice or shampoo first with a different brand ( Live Clean Fresh Water Hydrating Shampoo ) and then go in with this one afterwards. The conditioner felt just like any other conditioner, though it was very difficult to get it out of the bottle and there is still some in there now.
Overall I guess it may work for others, but for me the product didn't justify the price tag.
While i do love this product, I've found myself straying away from it due to the price point. You'll never find another argan oil that smells as amazingly as this one, and you really only need a little bit to go a long way. However, I found that my hair became resistant to the hydration that it gave after 3 years of use, and I had to switch to a different alternative. Now, I use the Argan and Moringa oil from CHI and I love it just as much (and I only had to pay $20 for it on Amazon!). While this is a good product, you can find something for comparable quality for the same price somewhere else.
