I received a small sample of this product while working at a salon a while ago. At that time, my hair was really frizzy all the time. The sample was very small 5ml. but it lasted for 2 months! So, even though this product retails for a higher price than I would normally pay, it is well worth the price because it lasts forever!

Here are the things I really liked:
    - you only have to use a drop and run it through the ends of your hair (it instantly tames fly-aways and frizz!)
    - it smells delicious!
    - it does not feel TOO greasy on your hands after running it through your hair
    - you can use it on wet hair before blow-drying or after to give some luster and shine

Overall, I love this product. I would definitely purchase based on its effectiveness and quality!

This is by far the best hair product I have ever used. I have been fortunate to have healthy, shiny hair for most of my life but just over a year ago my hair texture started to change. Split ends, frizziness and dryness was plaguing my mane. I later came to find out that it was hormonal changes that were affecting my hair , thankfully Moroccan Oil came into my life. My Mom recommend it, and it truly was my hair salvation and rebirth. I have had my bottle for nearly a year and I haven't had a bad hair day since.Too boot, the scent from the argan oil is absolute bliss.

I honestly do not know how I have survived prior to using Moroccan Oil!! I love that this product is not heavy, especially on my thin hair. It protects my hair from all of the damage I do to it such as curling, crimping, straightening, etc. An added bonus is the smell. Usually you know the products that work great have that ugly meical smell, you know what I'm talking about. But not Moroccan Oil. I feel almost as if I'm on a secluded island all on my own when I put this in my hair! I have already reccommended this to all my family and friends, both men & women. Another great thing about this is that a small amount really does go a long way! I have medium legnth hair and a dime size is plenty to finger through my hair. The only downside I would have to mention is the price. I won't go out and purchase the oil all the time, unless my some chance I get lucky and win the Lottery! Either way, I'll keep collecting my pennies to save for my next bottle of Moroccan Oil, trust me it is worth it!

Morracanoil is amazing. Oil works much better to condition the hair than silicones, because silicones only coat he hair, while oil penetrates each strand deep down. This contains no drying alcohol either, which is a huge bonus because so many products do. I don't like putting a lot of product in my hair because it feels gross to me, but this feels natural and I know I'm doing something good for my hair while I style. I use it on wet hair but also sometimes on dry a couple days after I shampoo just as a leave in treatment, and it makes my hair super shiny. Whether I'm letting my hair go curly or straightening it, I always mix this with whatever balm I'm using to style, but most of the time I just use it alone and let my hair air dry and it's really nice. The price is ridiculous but it's worth it because you don't use a lot at all. I'm not sure if the cheaper brands are as good-maybe, but a bottle of this can last me half a year so I never get around to trying. I'm not a fan of the glass bottle it comes in, so I get little travel pump bottles from the dollar store and switch it into there-so much easier to get out,and then there's no fear of breaking the glass!

The purpose of MoroccanOil is to strengthen and condition the hair post-shower. I purchased the Light treatment oil because I have very blonde, and very fine hair. I love this product! You only need to use a teeny-tiny amount to go a long way. It smells amazing, and my hair feels so nice after I use it - it's just like coming right out of the hair salon. People might feel that their hair would turn oily after using this product, since it is an oil, but I assure you it won't. Once massaged into the hair, the MoroccanOil transforms into an almost powdery substance which works itself right into you hair. The price is rather steep, at $40 per 100mL bottle...but chances are, you will only need to buy 1 bottle for a whole year, or maybe longer. The price is the only downside to this product.

I read a lot of great things about this oil, so despite the price I went ahead and bought it. I love the smell, but other than that I don't really see any advantage in using this product. I followed the instructions - a dime size amount on towel dried hair... sure it makes my hair smell good but I don't notice any other difference!

I have long thick hair. My hair doesn't go flat or anything, but basically I don't notice any difference - good or bad - at all!!

The price is too steep on something that makes no impact in the way my hair looks / feels. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Holy moly, I cannot believe I have waited so long to try this product!

Moroccanoil Light is specially formulated for thin and blond hair. These usually go hand in hand, but I happen to have thick blond hair and have found it works wonders. I have been procrastinating with getting my regular trim and the ends are quite dry and becoming brittle.

After just one treatment, there is a noticeable difference. My hair feels moisturized without being greasy and is extremely manageable. It doesn't eliminate my natural frizz, but once styled/straightened my hair stays glossy all day. I wash my hair twice weekly (it's quite long), and even after several days the product still does its job.

If I had a complaint it would be that the bottle is not well thought out. There is no dispenser, so when you pour a little into your hand the oil drips down the side of the bottle and will make a damp circle in your cabinet. I keep it stored in its box to eliminate the mess, which I find to be a little inconvenient.

The product is expensive, but since you really need so little each time, the bottle will last for a long while - much longer than the thicker creams and serums that dispense larger amounts.

I will certainly buy this again!

I have fine hair that I colour every 6 weeks. I am also blessed with hair that will frizz to the extreme when exposed to the slightest humidity. Last summer my stylist used Moroccanoil on my hair and it looked amazing. So being the product junkie that I am, I purchased a bottle on my way out of the salon. I have rarely gone a day since without using it. Just a small amount worked through towel-dried hair is all you need. I blow dry my hair everyday and occassionally use a flat iron and my hair comes out shiny and smooth everytime. It is a bit pricey but does last a long time. I get it at my salon, but I've also seen it at the Beauty Supply Outlet.

I'm really low maintenance when it comes to my hair, so putting extra crap in it after I shampoo makes me go "ugh". (Don't tell my hairdresser, but most of the time I don't even condition it). I don't colour my hair or heat style very often, so it's still in excellent condition. I haven't had a cut since March of this year and I still don't have any split ends.

The last time I went to the salon, the girl styled it up all nice after applying Moroccanoil. I fell in love with the smell right away and was really pleased it lasted all day. My hair felt amazingly smooth and the flyaways were minimal. Someone actually commented that I had "Barbie hair". I was Sold.

Now, it is pricey, but this stuff lasts forever. I've had the 25ml bottle for months and it's only half gone. Mind you, I don't use it everyday.

The original is perfect for my medium-thick hair and now with the light version, I imagine even the finest of hair can enjoy the benefits!

Just remember to use a good clarifying shampoo between uses as it does contain silicone.

My hair stylist reccomended Moraccanoil because I colour my hair every five weeks. I started using a small amount (about a dime size for my chin length hair) and within a week my hair was soft and SHINEY. My hair was never shiney before except for right after colouring. You do have to be careful not to use too much. I found that I was getting a lot of blackheads around my hair line and that is when I started to use only a dime size amount. It is a little pricey but it works. It is well worth the money.
