The custom blend foundation is made from minerals and has higher coverage than competitor brands. A Motives Beauty Advisor does a skincare consultation with you and she will make the foundation based on your skin tone (e.g. lightest to darkest skin) and skin type (e.g. combination, oil, dry, anti-aging, etc). When you apply it, it feels very lightweight and it feels as if you're not wearing anything!

I guess this would be a good product if they made sure those who sell it know how to make it. I had a woman approach me and sold me on the "idea" of custom blend foundation. She made me a bottle but asked for the money upfront, which ok it's custom I guess, but when I got the foundation it was horrible. Super crappy formula, looked bad and was like 5 shades off of my skin with not fully mixed in ingredients.

Don't buy this product from the consultants, go get your regular foundation from the store.

I found it very difficult finding the perfect shade for me as I am normally in between shades. This product is amazing, it doesnt feel heavy and it last the whole day.
