    Very Disappointed in This Product

I’m writing a review for the Motorola Video baby Monitor Mbp33x1.
Initially the quality of this product was great. It has night vision, the ability to speak to my baby through the parental device and it plays white noise/ lullaby’s as well. It was a dream come true... at first. After 4 months the parental unit quit holding a charge and as a young single mom this was a very inconveniencing dilemma. I was forced to make an impromptu visit to Walmart where the cheapest monitor they had in stock was $60. I made a visit I shouldn’t have had to make and spent money I didn’t have 😡. What’s more is that I treated and handled this product with care, it just glitched out on me out of the blue.
I need something I can rely on and the Motorola Video baby Monitor Mbp33x1 just didn’t deliver.

I won’t be recommending this product to any of my mommy groups or up and coming ‘new mom’ friends.

We have had nothing but problems with this monitor to the point we've stopped using it. The video is often choppy even when we're just in the next room and the signal shows full bars. The battery life is terrible and rarely lasts more than 30 minutes without being charged. It is terror inducing when it powers on and shows the last stored image rather than the current image which is often an empty crib. Often times I would hear my baby from down the hall and the image on the monitor was of him sleeping soundly and no noise coming from the monitor, only to realize the image was frozen and needed to turn it off and back on again to reconnect. Our package was missing the kick stand so it has to either lay flat or be propped up which makes keeping an eye on the screen when you're in the middle of another task difficult. Low light is practically impossible to get a good view unless it's dark enough to kick in the night mode, there's no way to manually prompt it to switch. And it's inconsistent with how to power it down often causing the receiver to beep loudly until you can figure out how to get it to actually turn off all the way. Don't waste your money.
