I am somewhat of a gadget nerd and just HAD to have the new Motorola Droid when it came out. Because I'm not an AT&T;customer, I had missed out on the IPhone craze and was excited about the Droid and it's prospects.

My Droid has great browsing and web features. It is fast! I am able to watch YouTube videos, access my Twitter and Facebook and download tons of fun (but mostly useless) apps.

Is it better than the IPhone? No, not yet. But given a little time to work out the bugs and for developers to develop more apps for it, I think it will be a close race.
