Great tasting mixer!

We tried the Mott's Mr & Mrs T Mai Tai mixer, and really like it! I tried some of the recipes that came with it and very much enjoyed them! The kids liked the slushies and I added rum to mine and my husbands! Delicious!

Perfect Summer Mix!!

I loved the Mai Tai Mix. I tried to look up other recipes that would use this and so far the easiest and tastiest is Moscato Mai Tai ;) It's the perfect drink to have especially during the summer sitting out on the patio and soaking in some rays! You can also mix it and make it into slush which is great when it's super hot out too!

I received Mott's Mr & Mrs T Mai Tai Cocktail Mix from ChickAdvisor complimentary for review/testing purposes but all opinions are my own.

First, Mott's is a long standing brand that I trust so receiving an item to try from them, especially related to cocktails made me excited! After redeeming my coupon I made myself a cocktail to put this mixer to the test!

1 oz Mott's Mr & Mrs T Mai Tai Mix
2 oz Bacardi White Rum
2 oz Cranberry Juice
3 oz Peach Ice Tea
Ice in a stemless Wine Glass

The result was a pretty rosewood color. The Mai Tai mix is quite sweet, and mixed with Cranberry and ice tea it does make for an even sweeter fruity drink - dangerous while sunbathing! I highly recommend for an easy summer drink. This mix would go great in non alcoholic punches as well!

Enjoying some yummy mocktails until I can drink again!

I am 8 months pregnant. Now that the weather is getting nicer, I was really missing enjoying cocktails on the patio with my girlfriends. Motts Cocktail mixes to the rescue! I've been making some killer mocktails using the Mai Tai mix. It tastes summery and refreshing and has satisfied my cravings for a cocktail. I can now sit outside with my girlfriends and not feel left out because I too now have a pretty drink! My friends tried the alcoholic mai tai cocktails and said they were super yummy too. I love that I can add as much or as little of the mix as I would like. It allows me to control the amount of sugar I'm consuming. I've even started mixing a splash of mai tai mix with a glass of club soda whenever I crave pop. I get my fizzy drink without large amounts of sugar. I can't wait to try the other Mr & Mrs mixes! #gotitfree

I received a full value coupon for the Mott's Mr. & Mrs. T Mai Tai Cocktail Mix through the Chick Advisor review club.

I found them at my local grocery store with a retail value of $4.00 for a 1 Litre bottle. I have never had a Mai Tai before and I mixed it with rum as per the instructions on the bottle. I found the mix to be very sweet. Almost too sweet but I added more ice and it dilute the flavor a little more. It was like drinking in a beach. I could just imagine sitting on the warm sand with the sun beating down on me. My husband enjoyed it also.

We are looking forward to mixing some new cocktails and trying out some of the other flavours.

Wow! Where do I even start? I can't remember the last time I was SO in love with an alcoholic beverage! #MottsMrMrsT will definitely be my drink of the summer.

I made the Midday Mai Tai recipe and it was seriously so delicious! The citrus, pineapple and almond flavours in the Mai Tai mix were such a nice blend along with the Strawberry Daiquiri mix, pineapple & orange juice, ice and vodka. We sat outside and very much enjoyed our drinks, it was 30 degrees and there is a strong possibility we may have enjoyed two or three batches of this delicious drink, hehe! Crazy easy to make and they look like something you would order in a fancy restaurant.

The packaging is bright and eye catching. Vibrant colours with a delicious Mai Tai on the label. My one and only complaint is that the sugar content is quite high. 36 grams of sugar per 135 ml. As a treat a couple of times a month at a bbq I am ok with indulging though :)

I will 100% be purchasing this again! Very much recommend.

A great summer drink

I received Mr & Mrs T Mai Tai cocktail mix for free in exchange for my honest review . #gotitfree

I was so happy to be selected for this campaign and my friends and I love to drink girly drinks out by the pool in the nice weather . We are always looking for new drinks to enjoy.

When I first opened the bottle , I smelled it . It smelled tropical and fruity . Flavours included are pineapple , lemon , orange , lime and a hint of almond .

I decided to try the backyard mai tai recipe in the booklet provided . It was a little sweet so next time I will make it a slushy drink to cut down on the sweetness . I tried with and without alcohol and the alcohol drink was much better . I then decided to tweek the recipe . I did 3/4 cups of cranberry juice and 1 cup of mr & mrs mai tai mix , 3/4 cup of Europes best frozen fruit Caribbean treasure with strawberries , mangos and peaches , and a cup of ice . Blended it. And it was an Amazing slushy drink . I added half a shot of rum to my glass and it was even better . I would drink this all summer long . I look forward to keep tweeking and creating recipes .

The bottle is 4.49 at Metro for 1L which is a great price . I recommend.

I had seen these products at the dollarama (pina colada flavour and two others i cannot recall) i never purchased them but was always a little interested so i was glad to get a chance to take part in this opportunity. i really like the mai tai flavour, it's a mix of almond citrus and pineapple. which actually work really well together. you can have a really simple recipe just adding some crushed ice or add some rum to spice it up. it also came with a booklet with a couple of recipes which are easy to follow. i served them at a bbq over the weekend and they were a hit. i believe it was around $4 at the superstore when i purchased it, which is an amazing price!

Good value, exotic flavour

I was asked to review the new Mai Tai cocktail mix by Mott's Mr & Mrs T. Once I managed to get my hands on the product, which proved to be quite the expedition, it was smooth sailing since all that was left was the drinking part. lol

I have to be honest, while I have bought cocktail mixes in the past, I never even knew that Mott's had a selection of them, except for Clamato obviously. The Mai Tai and Blue Raspberry martini mixes are the two new flavours which is why not all supermarkets seemed to have received them yet, while the older three flavours were well stocked everywhere.

First of all, I was surprised by the low price. I must admit that the lower price point compared to other brands threw me off and made me doubt the quality of the product. However, my fears were not confirmed as the mix turned out to be pretty good.

The Mai Tai mix was as you would expect a Mai Tai mix to taste, meaning it doesn't reinvent the wheel, but when you want something refreshing and tropical to mix in your rum without having to cut fruit and get the blender out, this will work nicely. My fiancé and I had it with Bacardi Gold on ice, but I doubt the type of rum used would make a difference. In fact, I would recommend keeping your Brugal extra viejo for sipping or at least to mix in with something that would not be so overpowering. Personally, I thought it was a bit sweeter than I would have liked, but I don't think it is fair to expect much more from a low price mix in a bottle. It probably didn't help that I threw a bunch of maraschino cherries in my glass, although I did take a sip before accidentally sweetening it with my abusive use of the cherries.

I would certainly be interested to try some of Mott's cocktail ideas or other recipes for more elaborate drinks with the rest of the bottle. I don't know if I would get the Mai Tai again, but it is not because it is not good, just a question of taste. I am more of a margarita girl so I will have to try that mix too.
