Very sweet but tropical!

I received a coupon to redeem for a completely free bottle of Mott's Mr & Mrs T Mai Tai Cocktail Mix from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club #gotitfree

I've tried this both as an alcoholic drink and just as a fruity mix, and I find it tastes better with the contrast of alcohol. Having it as a mocktail is incredibly sweet - I've tried using less than the suggested amount of mix and the taste it still incredibly sweet. One small serving has 37g of sugar, so this would be more of a treat cocktail! The flavour when mixed with alcohol is very fruity and tropical, with pineapple coming through the most. As I'm using such small portions the value is excellent - this bottle will last a long time, unless I crack it open with some friends this summer! Even so, the bottle is a great size and even with a larger group of people you wouldn't run out. I would probably purchase it again and recommend to others with a sweet tooth, but I'll probably be searching out some mixes with less sugar in the future.

Great Product! Great Taste!

I tried this mix over the weekend with my husband and it was ok. I would have given it a higher review if it wasn't so sour. I don't like sour things and I found that the Mai Tai mix was a little on the sour side. It's not a bad thing if you aren't as sensitive to sour things as I am. The flavour was great and I would have loved it if it wasn't so sour. I tried it with rum and I'm happy that #chickadvisor gave it to me so I got to #tryitfree. I know that if I saw it in the stores I would have purchased it as I love the strawberry daiquiri and pina colada mixes that this company makes.

Too sweet for me

I #gotitfree from Chick Advisor to try (my first from CA - so excited!). I tried it first all by itself then tried mixing it with white cranberry peach cocktail, with orange juice, with tonic water, and with white rum. I liked it with the rum best as the rum did some to balance the sweetness of this mix. However overall in all cases I just found it too sweet for my preference. Possibly being mixed sparingly with sparking water might be nice or something more sour like unsweetened cranberry or grapefruit juice, or add some lemon or lime juice to whatever else you are mixing it with. I also found that I got a bit of a headache with some of these more sugary combinations which was a bit off putting (mainly the non-alcoholic ones).

Bonjour nous avons tester motts mai tai,en famille avec laide du guide de recette envoye.le produit a ete le prefere de tous juste assez sucre avec bon gout. Nous avons essaye aussi nos propre melange il est tres versatile et donne du coros a nos drink.nous le recommandons fortement.

A Perfect Summertime Sparkler!

Mott's Mr & Mrs. T Mai Tai Cocktail Mix - just add ice! (And maybe a little something extra too! wink wink) I found this mixer refreshing and used it in my Margarita Machine for a slushy, citrusy frozen sipper. I even did a pineapple slice and cherry for garnish! I did find it a bit sweet - but remedied this with a little sparkling water and grey goose - lol! Loved it!

Add a little Tequila and boom!

Tryed it first as a moctail but it was missing a little something. Then I remembered I had some Tequila left. So Good! Lemonade, Mai Tai and Tequila, perfect mix for the evening cocktail hour. The frutie flavors from the Mai Tai mix work great with the salty flavors in the tequila. Looking forward to trying other mixes.

Summer is here!!

I got this product for free with ChickAdvisor. great product to show off your bartender skills even if you have no idea what you are doing. it makes great summer drinks. great slushy drinks as well. I tried it both with alcohol and without. tastes great either way. the only thing is it's a tiny bit too sweet for my taste but overall, it's awesome.
