I am confused about all the good reviews. I used my magic eraser on the rubber sides of my child's running shoe and it kept disintegrating! I had little pieces of magic eraser everywhere! The rubber came relatively clean, but the mess it made was not worth it!
Mr Clean Magic Eraser sure does the job of cleaning, the only problem I have with them is how fast they start to disintegrate. They are so effective at cleaning, they almost work like magic but they do not last long therefore end up being a bit on the costly side. But they clean anything, anywhere, which makes it such a good thing to use, if only the could or would make them so they lasted a bit longer.
it does erases markings on the wall but it also takes out the paint if it's eggshell base.
I've tried all of the magic erasers and they just don't last. As soon as you start to scrub they fall apart. I have sulpher in my water and this eraser just isn't up to the task of removing even the slightest stain. It doesn't clean very well at all, even on my kitchen sinks. The one thing it did do that was good was remove scuff marks off my floor but baking soda and a sponge do the same thing and it's much cheaper. Not worth the money to me.
I found that the paint came off my wall more than the crayon, also it got very small very fast. I won't be buying this again.
I used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser but didn't find any difference in effectiveness between the Magic Eraser and a sponge. The price is great because it can be found at the Dollar Store - but I think that I would prefer just using a sponge!
I find it works great getting of scuff marks etc. off of things - but it tends to fall apart after a few uses I end up with bits and pieces all over the place .
Unfortunately it hasn't been great for me. It removed a pencil mark and other minor things from a wall. But when I tried it on any other kind of "unknown" mark, like scuffs it didn't work; Baking soda & water worked better. I did discover that when used on a wall that was painted less than a year ago it removed the paint!
I love most things about Mr Clean Majic eraser. It cleans grease off my kitchen and scum off the tiles in the bathroom really well without much elbow grease. I do not like how if falls apart really easily leaving little pieces behind that sometime are hard to pick up.
