sure it does the job however it leaves burn marks on your childrens skin if they touch it or come in contact with it... not recommened if you have children in the home...
I'm really on the tense with this. I hear so many great reviews but I just wasn't impressed. Maybe I'm using it wrong. It starts to crumple in my hand and it does not completely take the soap scum away. I find I reach for other products.
Great product to remove stains, and especially textured bath tubs. I don't like the way it crumbles after use and it didn't leave my bathtub with a shine, in fact I had to use another product to bring the shine back.
Being a mom to four kids, this product comes in VERY handy! It's taken things off walls that I thought would be there forever!
I can wash my walls with soapy water and a cloth, and it works just as well. Also there are some pretty hard chemicals in the eraser, so if you do decide to buy it, wear gloves.
I used it on the scum in the bathtub and it worked really well. Tried it on the walls to remove finger prints and marks the kids have left...and it also took the paint with it.
I likely wouldnt buy them again, as there are other options for cleaning the bathtub!
They call it a magic eraser, but really all it does is cover up.
I've used them on walls and it covered scuff marks, although they eventually they re-appear.
But tried it in my bathroom, as suggested, and it left a white coating on my tub. Yuck.
So its great if your just trying to cover a mark, but it doesn't erase anything.
The thing with this product is that yes - it does work. But it works just as well as a simple combination of vinager and water (though granted smells much better).
The biggest issue with this product is that you can't use it as the main cleaning product in your house. It runs out very quickly so if you have a big job, you might actually end up using the ENTIRE BOX.
To me, it just seems like a waste of money and horrible to the environment. You can do much better on both counts, and get a product that gets the whole job done.
Well, I saw the commercials and heard the hype. I decided it was time to give the little wonder a try. First, I tried it on a few scuffs on the floor. It worked wonders. I've always been able to get those up with minimal scrubbing anyway, though. So, there were a few crayon marks on the wall in my little guys room. This is something I have seen it is supposed to "erase". I was pretty anxious to remove these marks without having to paint over them. To my dismay, the eraser just started to crumble, to fall apart and the marks didn't even begin to lighten. I tried to give it one more try on something totally different before I wrote the product off. I had a mild soap scum ring in the tub. I usually use Tilex and a lot of elbow grease to clean it. I decided to try the eraser to see if it would offer a better alternative. To my disappointment, the exact same thing happened. I began to scrub and the eraser started falling apart and the ring hadn't lightened at all. I called the company to discuss my experience. They want me to try the product again and are sending me a replacement. So, for light jobs, it seems to work well. In my experience so far, it doesn't deliver on all of the claims that it makes though. The company was a pleasure to deal with, though.
