Never a day goes by that you don't find a magic eraser at the ready beside my kitchen sink. Even cleaned up decades old grease stains on a piece of vintage pyrex I found at a yard sale. Great product!
Its a fantastic product. It even cleans the rims on my truck spotless. And my gutters, the trim around my windows. As well as the ring around the bathtub and all the kitchen tasks.
These things are basically my lifesaver! It literally removes ANY stain! 5 year old black hairdye on the white counter top that wont come out with bleach? Yep! Juice stains on the kitchen counter? Yep! Permanent black sharpie on the wall? Yep!!! I seriously haven't found one stain that this doesn't work on. Only downfall is that they don't last too terribly long, but I'll make sure I have one of these in my cupboards at all times!
This actually is the "magic eraser"! It cleans basically everything and when something doesn't come out with this, I give up because I know nothing else will take it out. My only complaint is that it's gotten a lot more expensive over the years... I remember is used to be way cheaper. Oh well, I guess that's the price you need to pay for something amazing!
Great product, it's my go to tool for almost everything!!! The only problem is it breaks apart and makes quite a mess & I don't know if it's just me, but it seems much smaller to what it used to be!
This has been a very useful tool in my cleaning arsenal for many years - both at home and in rental units. I have used this to clean and remove stains, marks, and other things off the walls, furniture, counters, and baseboards. These were necessary when cleaning white footwear and figure skates.
A few minor issues to note: these sponges break down as they are rubbed off on the surfaces. It may be a good idea to have a garbage can nearby - or at least have a broom and dustpan readily available to sweep the remnants away. They also work by removing the surface (like fine sandpaper). If not careful, they will remove more than what is needed. Glossy and paint finishes (that are not white) will be marred as a result.
There are plenty of generics in store and online, which can be quite a bit cheaper than this one. They will work fine - as long as the thickness is substantial enough to survive a few wipes (cutting them in half is fine - just don't buy thin pieces!) Look for those in store for better value.
I love Mr. Clean Magic Eraser because my son colored all over my walls and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser got all of it off of the walls!!!. I was so thankful!!!
We keep these around to get stubborn stains and grime off the walls. A worth while product to use for occasional cleaning.
