it does erases markings on the wall but it also takes out the paint if it's eggshell base.

Mr Clean Magic Erasers work wonders! The only thing I don't like is that they have horrible chemicals in them but honestly I still use them. They will take crayon off the wall, quickly get things off tables. They're great.

I have used this product since it came out. It's totally amazing. I use it on my walls because it removes anything and everything without harming the paint no matter what the colour. I also use it on my kitchen appliances because it takes off the grease from the gas stove top without harming the enamel, inside the microwave, oven etc. Just wipe clean with a damp cloth afterwards. Be prepared for little bits of this sponge to be left behind as you scrub but if that's the least of your worries for the results you get, no big deal. Costco has a plastic tub with multi purpose sponges of this product for a great price. If you don't have it in your house - go get it!

Yes this is a great product, can be used all over the house. If you get them on sale, it is even better.

I use this to clean my acrylic shower. It is nice to know it won't scratch and it completely removes the soap scum.
