I'm a certified plant killer. I don't have a black thumb, the truth is I don't open my blinds and I simply forget to water them. So this product is absolutely perfect for me! (Though I've still had to open my blinds to keep my newest plant alive!)

My big beef with this product is the instructions. There are no written instructions only a small pictoral diagram, so believe it or not I actually had to google how to use these. This is something that should certainly be amended as it's not exactly self-explanatory.

Remove the green twist cap and the elastic band, unwind the cable. SOAK the ceramic section in water for ten minutes, then replace the cap, put the long brown cable in a jar or bottle of water and put the ceramic part down into the soil of your plant.

The benefit of this is that it's much easier to know when it needs watering. I'm a terrible overwaterer because often I can't remember when or how much I last watered my plant. These probes take the guesswork out of it. It's also a great boon for when you go on vacation!

The downside is you have to then sit jars or containers of water all over the house and if you have pets this could be a disaster (though plants should be out of reach of pets anyway)

Pros:
- Water is provided to the plant automatically.
- Easy to use.
- Multipack.

Cons:
- Instructions are terrible.
- Must refill containers, similar to watering plants.

Overall this is a pretty good product for those without pets or going on vacation who struggle to water their plants!
