Rope tangles when static, but handles are great

I'm not the world's most fit person (far from it), but overall I liked this jump rope and feel it's pretty good given the pretty low price (12 bucks at time of writing). Let's start with the negative; for me, the biggest negative for this was the wire does have a tendency to get tangled, I think this is due to how the wire is held as another one I tried recently did not have this problem. It's fine while you're skipping, but afterwards it gets tangled up and is kind of annoying to untangle all the time, I've removed a star for this reason.

However in other parts the design really excels, for example the handles are awesome. While they're not as lightweight as some, they are still plenty light, chunky and have good grips. They are pretty large so if you have smaller hands a different set might suit you better, but I love that the grips mean that sweaty hands don't cause the handles to become slippy.

I also like that it's adjustable for height, by cutting the wire, so if you have two people in the house with drastically different heights you'll need one for each person. However, it's still nice to have that option for those who are very tall or very short. The handles are really the standout on these jump ropes, but I wish they'd find a way to stop the rope tangling, but overall it's pretty good.
