Meh
Didn’t really notice a difference in skin appearance or texture from the other products I currently use. Would not purchase with my own money as I didn’t see much results.
good stuff
This is a good product, not great just good. I have enough other products currently in my line up I enjoy so much more that this didn't wow me enough to replace.
hydrating for sensitive skin
I have sensitive, dry skin and this product helped with the dryness and did not irritate my skin. I do normally prefer moisturizer with SPF year-round which this product does not have so this is my only negative. Will happily use this sample up on inside days or in the evenings.
Hydrating
I received this one with other products in the box to try and this one is my least favourite product. It smells nice but didn’t keep your skin hydrated for very long. I had to reapply it every hour or so. I think there are better moisturizers out there.
Smells great and really moisturizes
This face cream actually really surprised me when I received it to try. I loved the subtle rose smell and how moisturizing it was on my skin without making my face look greasy. My only complaint is geared toward the packaging and not really the product itself. The bottle is super hard to get the right amount of product out. I'm not sure if this is just because of the sample size of the bottle or if the full size is similar but this packaging definitely needs a rethink. I've had a couple mornings where the product just wouldn't squeeze out and then once I tried a bit harder it ended up all over the floor and counter. I'm not a fan of wasting products or having to struggle to get them out so just the packaging alone would make me avoid purchasing in the future.
It was okay
It didn’t wow me in any way. It was okay and it gave some moisture but it wasn’t all that impressive. We think it smelled alright. But otherwise it wasn’t that great.
An average product.
I liked this product. It seemed to do an okay job as moisturizing my skin but that's all. It didn't do anything amazing and I feel like for the price tag it should've done a better job.
I'll "Re-Try" something else
Now normally I love Clarins, I've used plenty of their products - but the Re-Boost I received in the Chick Advisor Eco Box just fell short for me. The smell was the first thing that hit me, and it is strong. Very floral too, which for me is a total turn off, unfortunately! Beyond that, as with every lotion, a little goes a long way, so the size of the tube would last me a long while (if I wanted to keep using it beyond 2 weeks.) Overall effectiveness I would have to say is a neutral for me - I didn't notice much of a difference beyond my normal moisturizer, BUT... And this is a big but - I think should I keep using it, it wouldn't aggrivate my skin either, which is actually a huge bonus when there's that much fragrance involved. Honestly, for myself and those like my skin type (oily, combo, acne prone.) wouldn't recommend.
Not for me
I have very dry sensitive skin, so I found that this moisturizer didn't really provide enough hydration for me unfortunately. The biggest issue I have with it though is that I found it to be too strongly scented. I prefer my skincare to be unscented (perfumes in skincare is so unnecessary in my opinion).
It’s ok
The cream felt nice on my skin. It was hydrating and felt nice. I prefer my cream to have more of a purpose, like wrinkle fighting creams. This is a nice everyday moisturizer for someone young.
