Does Not Remove Makeup
Re-Move Micellar water from @clarinscanada, is packaged in a spill free bottle and is beautiful - but it fell short as it didn't not remove my make up as well as I had hoped.
Not for me
I received from @chickadvisor @thisisbutterly Earth month Eco box is @clarinscanada Re-Move Micellar Cleansing water. I got this item for free in exchange for my honest review. I was really looking forward to this cleansing water unfortunately it didn't do the job for me personally. It didn't end up removing my makeup and left it my skin irritated. I do like the packing of it though
Unfortunately It Did Not Remove My Makeup
I received this product for free to try in exchange for my honest review from Chick Advisor and Clarins as part of the 2022 Eco Box #gotitfree. I love that it has Moringa extract and Golden Gentian extract to remove pollution from your skin. It also says vegan friendly right on the box. This product is scented and smells very fruity. The bottle it comes in is well designed with a great cap that won't leak while still being easy to open. The opening is made in a way where the micellar water doesn't all pour out at once; it is very controlled by slightly squeezing the bottle to get exactly how much you need. I don't usually use a micellar water as part of my daily routine so I was super excited to try this, however I found that it didn't remove all of my makeup. The very first time I used it to take off my makeup I was wearing a full glam look with full coverage foundation, bright pink eyeshadow and winged liner. After Soaking my reusable cotton rounds with the micellar water and allowing it to sit on my face and eyelids for a few minutes the eyeshadow came off no problem and most but not all of the foundation came off, however it struggled to take off the eyeliner and mascara (both were not waterproof just fyi) so I ended up having to wash my face with my usual cleanser. I kept using it a few more times and even with lighter makeup I got the same results; it never fully removed all of my foundation even when it wasn't full coverage and it doesn't remove mascara and liquid eyeliner. It also slightly irritated my cheeks and eyelids so I cannot recommend this product. It gains 2 stars mainly because of the positives of the bottle design and decent price point of $24.00. Everyone's skin is different and we all wear different types of makeup so this may work for you but it did not work for me.
Has very string smell
I didn’t like the smell of the product. I used it to clean my makeup and as soon as I poured it on the cotton ball, even though it was such a small quantity, there was a really strong smell which I disliked the most. It even didn’t remove my makeup well.
Did not remove makeup as expected
This did not remove makeup as i expected too. It also did not feel great on my sking wich is a very sensitive type of skin. I also did not at all appreciate the smell of this product.
Simply, not a hit
I really wanted to like this product, but sadly it fell quite short. I did love the packaging and the bottle itself. The lid was big and has a great design to easily pop it open, and I liked the pink tint of the bottle itself. I immediately was not into the smell as soon as I opened the bottle, which made me a bit nervous to rub on my face and eyes. I liked that it didn't pour out onto my cotton round, until I gave the bottle a tiny squeeze. I squeezed a bit and gently rubbed my cheek, and noticed that it was effectively removing my makeup, however the smell was SO STRONG. I finished the rest of my face and then started to remove my eye make-up. It was so uncomfortable and started to make my eyes burn. I switched to my makeup removing cloth, and got it quite wet, so try and water down the remover. It took about a minute to finally wipe the cleansing water off my eyes with water, until I was able to open my eyes again. I frequently use a different brand of micellar water to remove my makeup each day and have never had this issue. I gave it 2 stars because it is effective in removing makeup, and the packing is cute, but it was really uncomfortable to use.
meh
It didn't help me remove my makeup that good. It took a few tries and I get it but after a long day, I would like something easy and quick to remove my makeup like vaseline- (which their downfall is just a bit greasy). But will stick with my fast, efficient way.
