Do you like dunkaroos?

These cookies, to me, taste EXACTLY like dunkaroos that I had as a kid, with the little animal cookies you dunk into the sprinkled frosting. I don't know how that tastes anything like a cinnamon bun. But it isn't bad.

After hearing great reviews about these, I went out to buy them. I was disappointed, not because they are gross (they aren't), but, rather, because I expected more. The smell is phenomenal, but the taste is less than expected. The taste is just mediocre and doesn't remind me much of a cinnamon bun. The cookie has a very light cinnamon taste and has a Dunkaroo feel, in terms of texture. I like the texture of the cookie, but I wish the taste of cinnamon was stronger. The cream tastes slightly like cream cheese, but overall lacks a lot of "cinnamon bun/cream cheese" flavor. I also wish the taste of the cream cheese "icing" was stronger. You can find these fairly cheap at Wal Mart, so if you like Oreos, try them, but don't expect a strong cinnamon bun taste, in my opinion.

I love oreos and I was looking forward to try this new cinnamon bun flavor. They taste good, but I was very disappointed because I think they taste too similar to the golden oreo. However, you might still want to give these a try if you love the golden oreo, but don't expect too much from the cinnamon bun part.
