This coffee is repulsive
It starts with the smell. Awful! Smells like a dirty coffee pot. It also tastes really bad. It tastes like it came out of a dirty pot. The after taste will make you shiver and not in a good way. It's a sour taste. I'm throwing the rest of the bag in the garbage. (Breakfast Blend) I should say I'm new to coffee. I've never had instant and I do always buy coffee that costs double the price of Nabob. Maybe I'm a coffee snob or something but this stuff is brutal.
I want to add that I was so repulsed by this coffee, I googled "Why does Nabob coffee taste so bad?" The Google response referred to Folgers and Maxwell House but the response describes this stuff pretty well. "...Robusta, the cheaper, hardier, easier-to-grow coffee, often has a bitter tang (one coffee expert says it tastes like burnt rubber)"
Not Good for single cup making. Ok for large batch
I tried this in a single cup first and found it body less and unsatisfying for the price you pay. Similarly priced you can get better flavored coffee. Secondly I tried in a large batch 12 cups and i found it worked better with better flavor but still not my cup of coffee.
It would do the trick
Definitely not my favourite. The taste is rather week and watered down. I end up having to use much more coffee grounds to make a decent cup of coffee. I would end up spending more because I have to use so much.
