Disappointing, didn't wax much

I've never really used home wax kits, but I saw this one on sale and decided to give it a try. I was hopeful it was going to work but it didn't really do anything. It rolled on ok but didn't remove any hair, it was fairly simple to do, just heat up the wax for a few mins and your good to go. They give you a pretty good amount of wax strips to use, and it does rinse off like it says with warm water however the effectiveness wasn't there at all.
